It’s time for change.
Being a human is hard. When we add the demands and expectations of society, relationships, work and culture, being a human can feel impossible.
You’re here because you’re struggling with anxiety, overwhelming thoughts and emotions, or you feel like you’ve lost yourself. You want less stress, less overwhelm and less of that burnt-out feeling. You want to find yourself again, accept all of the different parts of you, and you want to explore who you are as an individual in this complex world. But..you don’t know where to start.
I’m here because I want you to know that you’ve already started. Seeking support takes courage and you don’t need to figure this out on your own.
Hey there! I’m Connie!
I’m a psychotherapist that specializes in using art making and creativity to help you understand and process tricky thought patterns, vicious cycles and overwhelming emotions.
My work is trauma-informed, BIPOC-centred and person-centred.
This means we move at your pace and work from a non-judgmental space, where there is room to turn up imperfectly and exactly as you are today.
Using the creative arts, we can explore the complexities of being human. Art lets us go deeper, it lets us tap into knowledge we didn’t know existed. It lets us work with complex struggles in a tactile form and it provides an opportunity for our inner child to play again. Let’s start looking at what it might look like to bring colour to any dark or muted areas of your life so you can begin building a brighter and healthier relationship with yourself :)
